Welcome to Ink Flourishes! It is the blog spot for Rebecca Orr Campbell, a Scripsit, Calligrapher and Lettering Artist. Rebecca lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Robert, and five wonderful kitties. She has been a Calligrapher since 1991 on Hilton Head Island, SC . She has attended numerous seminars and workshops and has privately studied with the world renown Master of the Art of calligraphy from England, Sheila Waters. She is a member of the Association of Calligraphic Arts, The Carolina Lettering & Arts Society, Cyberscribes and a Supporting Patron of The Washington Calligrapher’s Guild. She has been interviewed and published in the April 2006 issue of Cooking Light magazine and her Envelope Art has been published in Vol 5.2 of the publication Bound & Lettered. When asked the main reason she relishes and adores calligraphy she stated, "I truly believe the art of calligraphy is one that has, and will, survive our electronic and digital age; as there is nothing more elegant and timeless than being the recipient of an original beautiful invitation hand penned by an accomplished calligrapher.
